Announcing new self-directed online learning modules

  • Introduction to HIV
  • Introduction to Hepatitis B
  • Introduction to STIs

Each module contains:

  • learning outcomes that describe the key learning objectives for the module,
  • learning content that provides the core information. and
  • a quiz which provides you with an opportunity to apply what you've learned within the module.

It will take you 10-20 minutes to complete each module. The Introduction to STI module is more advanced and may take longer to complete.

When you have successfully completed the module, you can return to the Home Page to check your results and to generate a Certificate of Completion.

 

The Rural Health Education Foundation webcast a program on hepatitis on 8th November 2011.

Dr Norman Swan chaired a live panel discussion around the current knowledge and research on hepatitis; the range of hepatitis variants with a specific focus on hepatitis B and C; prevention, detection, diagnosis and treatment; the national hepatitis strategies and their key recommendations and specifically the issues for rural, remote and Indigenous communities.

Training scholarships are open to people working in regional/rural areas to support their access to workforce development initiatives.

ASHM will be processing applications for workforce development grants, per previous arrangements.
