This seven week  online course provides an overview of current information on viral hepatitis focusing on hepatitis C.  It is suitable for health and allied health workers from clinics, youth health facilities, Needle and Syringe Programs, Juvenile Justice and other settings working with clients who are at risk of, or are infected with blood borne virus diseases.

Topics covered include: epidemiology, transmission, prevention, testing, disease processes and prognosis, current treatments, clinical trials, self–help strategies for clients, psychosocial issues, counselling and referrals.
